Now the questionnaire for new users contains questions about special needs, for example, the user can note the following: “I move in a wheelchair”, “I communicate in Russian sign language”, “I communicate by correspondence” and other important features.

As the press service of the network said, such information will help the company adapt services and personalize offers to the special needs of clients, making them available to everyone.

“Developing a culture of inclusivity through the creation of adaptive stores and services is one of the key objectives of the X5 Group’s sustainable development strategy,” the statement says.

In 2024, the Pyaterochka retail chain released an inclusive guide, “A Store for Everyone: A Practical Guide to Inclusive Retail Transformation.” The document combines and systematizes the experience of the trading network in implementing an inclusive strategy and is aimed at maximizing the social effect in the field of creating equal opportunities.
