X5 Group is faced with a shortage of personnel at its distribution center in the Yaroslavl region, RIA Novosti reports, citing a statement from the retailer’s press service .

Earlier, the Mash Telegram channel wrote that water and some products disappeared from Pyaterochkas in a number of cities on the Golden Ring of Russia. The reason cited was a shortage of workers at the distribution center from which the goods were shipped.
“Currently, at the distribution center in the Yaroslavl region there is a seasonal labor shortage associated with external market factors, including the departure of migrant workers to their homeland. To solve such local problems, we attract additional labor resources from neighboring regions of Russia, where there are no problems with staffing,” explained the X5 Group.
They also noted that the retailer is now “providing stores with all necessary goods as quickly as possible.”
