Wittchen is implementing an expansion plan
– By opening another stationary showroom in Bucharest, we are systematically implementing our international expansion plan. The summer season and increased tourist traffic is a very good time to promote the Wittchen brand range not only among local customers, but also among people visiting Romania. This year, we plan to open one more stationary showroom in Romania, this time in the western part of Bucharest, said Jędrzej Wittchen, president of the company's management board.
The Wittchen Group is successfully implementing a three-stage strategy for entering new foreign markets. At the beginning, it focuses on external marketplace platforms and building brand awareness. In the next step, it launches its own online store and then opens a stationary showroom in carefully selected locations in a given country.
New Wittchen showroom in Romania
The Wittchen brand showroom at Fashion House Outlet Center Pallady has an area of 123 m2 and was designed based on a modular concept, allowing for flexible designation of store zones and displaying a diverse range of products. The new concept of Wittchen stores, used since 2024, allows for lower costs of store arrangement and subsequent maintenance compared to outlets launched in previous years.
Fashion House Outlet Center Pallady is the second facility of this type in Romania. It was launched in 2021, and in June this year, the expansion of the new part of the center was completed, where stores of well-known international brands, including Wittchen, are located. The construction of the largest amusement park in Romania has already been planned near the shopping center.

Romania is one of the fastest growing economies in Central and Eastern Europe. It is also the third largest retail market in the region, after Poland and the Czech Republic, in terms of available retail space.
Currently, there are over 90 stationary stores with the Wittchen and Wittchen Travel logos in Poland. The group also has its own stores in the Czech Republic (7 stores), Hungary (3 stores), Austria (2 stores), Germany, Slovakia (1 store each), Romania (2 stores) and Ukraine (10 franchise stores).
