Artificial Intelligence Ice Cream

The Willisch ice cream flavour created especially for Lidl was invented by artificial intelligence.

– The increasingly popular tools based on artificial intelligence models offer great possibilities and we wanted to use this in ice cream as well – says Robert Willisch, the owner of the company. – We uploaded a list of previously made flavors to a popular chat and AI suggested a new one: caramel popcorn. Then, also using artificial intelligence, we generated graphics that ended up on ice cream packaging – he adds.

This is the first widely available commercial product on the ice cream market that uses artificial intelligence.

The permanent offer could not be complete without a flavour that has won the palates of tens of thousands of customers and is, for another year in a row, one of the most desirable flavours of artisan ice cream on the Polish market.

Where can I find ice cream like this?

The ice cream is available from Wednesday, March 6 in all Lidl Polska stores. The offer is valid until the end of August. After that time, the ice cream will be on sale while supplies last.

Willisch Ice Cream

Willisch is a family company from Wągrowiec (Wielkopolska Province) that has been producing handmade ice cream since 1983. The offer includes over 200 flavors, and the ice cream can be purchased in the largest retail chains, local shops, ice cream parlors, and even online (with home delivery by courier).
