– The intended concentration involves a takeover within the meaning of Art. 13 section 2 point 2 of the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection by Tomasz Stokłosa ("Reporter") control over the entrepreneur Polskie Zakłady Zbożowe spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Wałcz ("PZZ sp. z oo") – we read in the announcement.

According to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, the applicant – Tomasz Stokłosa – is a natural person conducting agricultural activity and also runs a business.

– It is active, directly or through controlled companies, on Polish markets for the cultivation and sale of cereals, the production of hatching chicken eggs, the breeding and breeding of poultry, the production and sale of poultry meat, as well as the disposal of non-hazardous waste – says the Office.

As we read in the notification, the main activity of PZZ sp. z o. o. based in Wałcz is the production of industrial feed mixtures and concentrates for animals, flour production, poultry production (breeding and breeding of poultry), trade in agricultural products, running a farm, growing cereals. , purchase and sale of grain.

As PZZ itself informs on its website, the company has two elevators in Strzelce Krajeńskie and Wałcz with a total capacity of 75,000 tons. The annual demand for cereals, including the production of cereal mixtures and milling, is nearly 130,000 tons.
