Protest farmers. With what problems have they come to Warsaw?
Lack perspectives on the future for agriculture?
From Wielkopolska to protest came Piotr Kozioł, a young farmer, who fears for his future. Has recent attention prior to the completion of twenty-five years of negotiations with countries Mercosur. He believes that the possibility of importing agricultural products from those countries will contribute to the end of Polish
and European agriculture.

Fear of development of farms
From the Voivodship of Lower Silesia on the protest has already in total fourth time Lukasz January. – I’ll sincerely, that all the time I’ve been thinking, that I’m going for the last time, but I can see, that this is all, with what we have to do today, that is really not going in the good way. I fight for my children, because we are a family already in the third generation. We are supporting farming and with my wife we have established, that we can survive. But already have our children? There is no such certainty. That’s why I fight and will fight, for the Polish land and also for every ordinary citizen – the farmer told us.
In the actions of the European Union he sees on a desire to extinguish agriculture. – Countries Mercosur, which have production completely different from us, there are no restrictions of any requirements and standards of the type of plant protection or that have to supply us with food. Where is the logic here – he asks. His farm is involved in producing milk. The work is
hard and demanding,
because it cannot be “stopped.”even on holidays. Cows must be milked, given them to eat.
