Will artificial intelligence will displace humans from work?

Czy sztuczna inteligencja będą wypierać człowieka z pracy?

Automation and robotics are enabling companies to increase efficiency, but at the same time are raising concerns about the future of many jobs. Whether AI is a technological revolution, that will improve work conditions, or just a force, that will lead to mass reduction of jobs? The answer will be sought by dr n. pr. Artificial intelligence (AI) a labor market and places work

Artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and related technologies have great potential, to revolutionize the work market and places of work. From one side they can replace humans in performing repeatable, monotonous tasks, which will allow employees to focus on more creative and strategic aspects of their work. Additionally, these technologies can improve collaboration between people and machines, creating a more efficient and innovative working environment. In effect, companies can become more competitive, and society as a whole can experience increased prosperity.

From the other side, the development of AI and robotics brings also serious challenges. Automation may lead to loss of jobs by people performing routine tasks, which will require requalification and adaptation to new realities of the work market. also, the necessity of reorganizing the workforce and providing appropriate level education and training for future generations of workers are other challenges, which we will have to meet.

To take full use the potential of AI and robotics, while minimizing the negative impacts, necessary is a strategic approach and considering the needs of both workers, and employers. Government, organizations non-government and companies should cooperate, to create appropriate legal and ethical frameworks for development of these technologies, and also invest in education and development of skills, which will enable employees to find in the changing market of work.

Artificial intelligence (AI) directed to human and created by human

New regulatory frameworks for artificial intelligence, robotics and related technologies should be compliant in full with the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union[1]. This means that they must respect human dignity, autonomy and self-determination of individuals, prevent harm, promote justice, inclusiveness and transparency, eliminate unequal treatment and discrimination, also minority, and respect these.and adhere to principles of reducing negative external effects of used technology, ensuring the explicability of the technology, and also guaranteeing, that these technologies will serve the people, and not replace, or decide for them, with the final objective is to increase the welfare of each human being.

The European Parliament

The European Parliament has called member states to evaluate, whether the loss of jobs in the result of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) should lead to develop strategies public policy, such as shortening time work.

In resolution of 20 October 2020 year. The European Parliament stressed, that design based on values and ethical principles of the Union is a very necessary approach, to create conditions for universal acceptance of social artificial intelligence, robotics and related technologies. He also called for member states to evaluate, whether the loss of jobs in the result of the application of these technologies should lead to develop appropriate strategies public policy, such as shortening time work.

The European Parliament believes, that this approach is, with the purpose of developing confident, ethically responsible and technically unreliable artificial intelligence, is an essential factor supporting sustainable, intelligent, safe and accessible mobility.

What competencies in AI are needed?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more and more common in the workplace. In associated with this there is a growing demand for people with competencies in this area. These competencies are needed not only for specialists IT, but also for people working in other industries, such as for e.g. medicine, the business. medicine, finance, marketing, law, administration or education.

Competencies in AI can be divided into some categories:

  • Knowledge theoretical: Includes understanding basic concepts of AI, such as machine learning, network neural, processing language natural itp.
  • Technical skills: Relates to programming skills, analysis of data, use of tools and platforms AI.
  • Skills soft skills: include the ability to solve problems, creative thinking, work in teams and.communication.
  • Ethical competencies: They relate to awareness of the impact AI on society
and the skills of responsibly applying this technology.

In summary, art intelligence (AI), robotics and related technologies are powerful tools, which can provide many benefits, but also constitute challenges for the work market. The key to success is a responsible approach and collaboration of all stakeholders to ensure that the development of these technologies will serve the society as whole.
