- On Saturday he hosted also at a farm in Zulawy. He posted from there a photo and a recording of his wife, Malgorzata Trzaskowska behind the steering wheel of a tractor.
- A wave of comments began.
Breakfast Rafal Trzaskowski at farmers
The Mayor of Warsaw boasted with photos and recordings of the Zulawy. He and his wife ate breakfast with the family of the farmer.
Mrs Dorota and Mr Andrzej invited us for breakfast and a frank conversation about problems in agriculture. Mr. Andrzej was one of the organizers of protests of farmers on the Silesian waters against Green Lad in agriculture and unregulated import of Ukrainian grain in Poland under the PiS government. Poland farmers understand the issue of climate change. They themselves feel the effects – whether drought, or normal rains, or general disruption of the cycle of seasons year is directly transferred to agricultural production. But the fight for climate cannot be performed at the significant cost. I require a fair approach – the principles must be equal.
You cannot tighten the screws on Polish and European farmers, and allow into our markets products that do not meet any standards – wrote Rafał Trzaskowski.
Then Malgorzata Trzaskowska sat behind the steering wheel of a
tractor market John Deere. Rafal Trzaskowski tossed the recording with its comment: “I’ve always wondered after what Goska had the right to tractor. No that I already know.”
There was no long wait,
when opponents political, and farmers started to comment on this situation. “Who they are still going to impersonate in this campaign. It’s getting more interesting” – reacted the PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek.
“He posts a film of his wife in a tractor, elegantly dressed, as if
she were to conduct a fashion show in a field. Beautiful, only where were you and your wife, when the farmers were really fighting for their own? Where were you, when they protested against Green Land, expensive Ukrainian food and decisions destroying Polish farms?
The issue was also commented by farmers.
– The charms
of the election campaign, each candidate is most concerned about agriculture. The most surprising fact is that for future benefits or for the moment of agriculture they give such use… – wrote Damian Murawiec, a member of theBottom-up National Protest of Farmers.
From the other however, as Lukasz Pergo³ points out, farmer from the Warmińsko-Mazurskie province and Delegate of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Agricultural Chamber, “Every farmer has the right to have his view. Every candidate visitsthefarmthatwantstohim.fromonesideshowshowfarmershavediverseviewsandarenottheelectorateofonlyoneparty.”
