More and more women are appearing at the Agro Show

Year by year we also observe that there are more and more women at the fair. Why do women come to the Agro Show? As it turns out, not only as companions.

My husband and I run a large farm, which we are constantly modernizing – says Anna Korbińska, a farmer from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province, in an interview with the editorial office. – We come to the fair every year to see what's new, to find out about prices. Everything is in place here – she adds.

As the farmer emphasizes, the market formula is very convenient for her. Many brands and dealers in one place allow you to compare offers and best match them to each other.

In addition, it is a big attraction for the sons – adds Mrs. Anna. – Children can see interesting machines, touch them, sit on them. Of course, the bigger, the better, so the combines and the largest tractor models enjoy the greatest interest.

The entertainment side of the fair is as important as the content

Sandra Sierocka, a farmer from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and an influencer, came to the fair with a similar attitude.

Women at the Agro Show are looking at machines that they will use on their farms. We are looking for new technologies, machine add-ons – she says.

Sierocka also points out that Bednary is an excellent meeting place for people from all over the industry who are normally scattered all over Poland.

Many of the women we asked about the purpose of their visit indicated that they actively participate in the selection of farm equipment and for them the exhibition is a place where they can primarily compare offers.

For me, it is important to gather the broadest possible knowledge base – says Marzena Kaliniak, a farmer from the Małopolska province, in an interview with the editorial office. – This year we would like to buy a mulcher. So we talk to salespeople, collect opinions and data. In one day we are able to obtain practically all the information we need to make a choice. We spend a huge amount of money on this equipment, so we want to choose something that will meet our needs – she adds.

The woman emphasizes that the fair is a treasure trove of knowledge.

People who already use the equipment or are interested in it show up at the stands – he says. – There is a field for discussion, exchange of impressions, opinions, which then help us make a decision. I don't know if this is not the most important thing.

The young farmers we talked to emphasize that they like coming to the fairs because they meet people who have similar interests.

Cool people, cool machines, everything I like in one place – says Wiktoria Kaczmarczyk, a farmer from the Opole province.

Many of the women we spoke to also came purely for social reasons, and going to the fair was a way for them to spend time with their family.

The children have a lot of fun – says Karolina Mizera, who came to the fair with her two sons from Poznań. – I have nothing to do with agriculture, but the boys love tractors and I am here mainly for their pleasure. Although I must admit that the machines make a huge impression on me too – she adds.
