This week Elektrilevi announced a significant increase in network fees, despite the fact that the company is making large profits. Despite the explanations, the company does not specify why the additional money is needed.
Elektrilevi said that starting in October, customers can expect an increase in network fees by an average of 7.1 percent. As a result, from the fall the network fee will be 4.4 s/kWh. The company justifies the price increase by citing higher maintenance and investment needs. It may seem that without a fee increase Elektrilevi will not make ends meet, but this is not entirely true.
