Belarusians prefer to return money for utilities, purchases on marketplaces and in pharmacies. These conclusions were made by Sber Bank based on an analysis of statistics on the “Thank You” loyalty program.
The bank found the categories that SberCard holders choose most often. According to the terms of the loyalty program, you can choose from five categories that are beneficial to you every month in order to receive a return from 1 to 4%. The maximum you can return is 200 rubles.
Utility payments come first: most cardholders want to receive a refund on them. In second place are purchases on marketplaces. The top three also include pharmacies. They are slightly lower in spending on clothes and shoes. Belarusians also want to return part of the money from trips to cafes, bars and restaurants.
Many Belarusians want to save on fuel and choose gas stations to return points, especially Belorusneft. Popular retail chains include Mila and Euroopt. They also return money from home expenses and renovations. Many people use points to return when purchasing products, including those with home delivery.
