Soft wheat
The highest average yields of soft wheat at 9.53 tonnes/ha are expected in Ireland, and the lowest at 2.57 tonnes/ha in Portugal. Average yields in Poland are expected at 5.18 tonnes/ha, compared to 5.38 tonnes/ha in 2023, which is 4 percent less and 4 percent more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 5.68 tonnes/ha.
Rye
The highest average rye yields of 6.10 tons/ha are expected in Denmark, and the lowest of 1.17 tons/ha in Portugal. Average yields in Poland are expected at 3.41 tons/ha, compared to 3.55 tons/ha in 2023, which is 4 percent less and 3 percent more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 4.21 tons/ha.
Winter barley
The highest average yields – 8.71 t/ha are expected in Ireland and the lowest 2.18 t/ha in Cyprus. Average yields in Poland are to be 4.77 t/ha compared to 5.07 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 6% less and 2% less than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 5.62 t/ha.
Spring barley
The highest average yields – 7.40 t/ha are expected in Ireland and the lowest 2.91 t/ha in Romania. Average yields in Poland are to be at the level of 3.78 t/ha against 3.79 t/ha in 2023 and 3% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 4.43 t/ha.

Triticale
The highest average yields – 5.89 t/ha should be in Germany, and the lowest 1.64 t/ha in Portugal. Average yields in Poland are expected at 4.25 t/ha, compared to 4.48 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 5 percent less and the same as the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 4.37 t/ha.
Rape
The highest average yields of 4.27 t/ha should be in Ireland, and the lowest in Finland – 1.32 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 3.28 t/ha, compared to 3.39 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 4% less and 3% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 3.07 t/ha.
Potatoes
The highest average yields of 44.0 t/ha should be in Denmark and the lowest in Romania – 14.8 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 29.1 t/ha compared to 29.6 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 2 percent less and 1 percent more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 35.1 t/ha.
Sugar beets
The highest average yields of 85.5 t/ha should be in Spain and the lowest in Romania – 34.2 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 63.0 t/ha compared to 61.3 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 3% more and 4% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 73.4 t/ha.
Corn for grain
The highest average yields of 12.0 t/ha should be in Spain and the lowest in Romania – 3.83 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 7.25 t/ha compared to 7.29 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 1% less and 3% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 7.03 t/ha.
Corn on green
The highest average yields of 54.3 t/ha should be in Ireland and the lowest in Romania – 21.6 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 47.1 t/ha compared to 46.7 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 1% more and 2% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 42.7 t/ha.
Soy
The highest average yields of 3.39 t/ha should be in Italy and the lowest in Romania – 1.97 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 2.39 t/ha compared to 2.58 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 7% less and 3% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 2.75 t/ha.
Sunflower
The highest average yields of 3.03 t/ha should be in Croatia, and the lowest in Spain – 1.21 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 2.44 t/ha, compared to 2.36 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 3 percent more and 4 percent more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 2.04 t/ha.
Beans
The highest average yields of 5.51 t/ha should be in Ireland and the lowest in Spain – 1.33 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 2.88 t/ha compared to 2.61 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 10% more and 5% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 2.81 t/ha.
Pea
The highest average yields of 3.85 t/ha should be in Denmark and the lowest in Greece – 1.39 t/ha. In Poland, average yields should amount to 2.18 t/ha compared to 2.12 t/ha in 2023, i.e. 3% more and 3% more than the five-year average. The average expected yield for the EU is 2.24 t/ha.
