More than 70% of students perceive positive changes in quality of life after 20 years in the European Union. Improvement is indicated slightly more often by residents of rural are than residents of cities – read in the report Poland Rural 2024.
According to respondents in the period of 20 years of Poland membership in the EU the rural areas improved primarily infrastructure of local roads and their lighting, access to water network, sewer and gas, and also access to internet and sport facilities.
If the referendum on membership in the European Union were held today, 62% of residents of rural are to vote for membership, and 15.4% against.
The significantly larger
eurosceptics are urban residents, where 54.8% would vote for, and 22% against membership.

Increased polarization of opinions of residents of rural areas
