According to Jakub Olipra, we are currently dealing with relative stabilization on the milk market. Milk prices have reached local lows and a reversal of the downward price trend is expected.
– As far as milk purchase prices are concerned, I think that in August we reached a local minimum and in the coming months they will follow a gentle upward trend – predicts the analyst.

The price of milk should increase
According to Olipra, limited opportunities to increase milk supply, combined with a potential increase in demand that could result from the economic recovery expected towards the end of the year, provide room for improvement in the pricing situation.
– I believe that at the end of this year the milk purchase price in Poland, I am talking about the milk price reported by the Central Statistical Office, will be at the level of PLN 2.20. Of course, the main risk factors for such a forecast are what will happen with the weather, with agrometeorological conditions among the main producers – the economist predicts.
