Fyrtel started in Poznań four years ago. – The number of orders and stores grew from week to week, and it was no longer possible for us to deliver just the two of us. We started building a team, expanding our activities, until we found the first investor who believed in our project. The injection of cash allowed us, among other things, to create a mobile application and open Fyrtel in Wrocław. At the same time, we devoted a lot of attention to improving our service, as well as attracting new stores. So we quickly had to find more investors who would allow us to take the next step.
It worked this time too, and the new funds allowed us to develop the application, create a new portal, and scale Fyrtl to Warsaw and then to Berlin. Only time showed that betting on such large cities as Warsaw and Berlin was a mistake that cost us a lot.
The turn of 2022 and 2023 was very difficult for us. The collected funds were running out, we had to withdraw from cities that were unprofitable. We were on the verge of closing Fyrtla. However, thanks to the support of investors, we managed to continue our project and try to further develop what we had created together.

– So we focused on Poznań and maintaining what we started with. Although the beginning of 2024 was quite successful, spring and summer turned out to be very difficult for us. Maintaining Fyrtel from the financial side exceeded our capabilities, and therefore we decided to close it – we read in the entry of the founders.
Over 400 local shops in 4 cities (Poznań, Wrocław, Warsaw, Berlin) sold on the platform. The company employed 50 people during the boom. Over 14 thousand people made purchases on Fyrtel; Over 150 thousand orders were delivered; and thanks to this, over 6 million PLN in turnover was generated for local shops.
Fyrtel will deliver the last order on 31/08/2024.
