A series of reductions on the weaner market in Denmark
Today's quotations on the Danish stock exchange brought further reductions. The downward streak has been going on for seven weeks now.
Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were again valued at DKK 555.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status this time at DKK 530.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.
Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 32), the current prices for weaners are DKK 175-190/piece lower. depending on health status. In turn, compared to last week, the current rates are lower by 15 DKK/pcs, i.e. by approx. PLN 5.75 (after taking into account changes in exchange rates, the difference is approx. PLN 9/pcs).

Prices of fattened pigs continue to decline despite stabilization in Germany
Current rates for Danish weaners (01/08/2024)
- The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is DKK 555.00/piece, i.e. PLN 319.24/piece, compared to PLN 328.21/piece. last week.
- The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is DKK 530.00/piece, i.e. PLN 304.86/piece, compared to PLN 313.81/piece. last week.
- The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 505.00/piece, i.e. PLN 290.48/piece, compared to PLN 299.42/piece. last week.

These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.
Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
