The zone encompassed one city (Chełmno) and nine communes (or their fragments) belonging to the counties of Chełmno, Świecie and Bydgoszcz. Its shape is as follows:
Chełmno County:
- the city of Chełmno
- part of the rural commune of Chełmno located southwest of the town of Chełmno and the part located west of the line marked by the road connecting the towns of Małe Łunawy – Nowawieś Chełmińska – Dolne Pomiary – Kolenki, running from the southern border of the commune to the intersection with the line marked by the bed of the Mała Wisła and further west of the line marked by the bed of the Mała Wisła running to the northern border of the commune
- part of the Stolno commune located west of the line marked by the road running from the southern border of the commune and connecting the towns of Kolonia Jakubowo – Wabcz – Wabcz Kolonia – Małe Łunawy
- part of the Papowo Biskupie commune located to the west of the line designated by the road running from the eastern border of the commune and connecting the towns of Staw – Folgowo – Papowo Biskupie – Zegartowice to the western border of the commune, part of the Kijewo Królewskie commune located to the north of the line designated by the road running from the eastern to the western border of the commune and connecting the towns of Trzebcz Królewski and Trzebcz Szlachecki
- part of the Unisław commune located north of the line marked by the railway line
Świecie County:
- part of the Pruszcz commune located east of the line marked by the railway line
- part of the Bukowiec commune located south of the line marked by the road running from the southern border of the commune, connecting the towns of Gołuszyce – Różanna – Gawroniec – Dolny Młyn – running to the intersection with road no. 240 and further south of this road running from this intersection to the eastern border of the commune
- part of the Świecie commune located south of the line marked by the road running from the northern border of the commune connecting the towns of Dólsk – Wyrwa – Sulnówko to the northern border of the town of Świecie, and then south of the line marked by the northern border of the town of Świecie running to the southern border of the commune
Bydgoszcz County:
- part of the Dąbrowa Chełmińska commune located east of the line marked by the road connecting the towns of Oktowo – Gzin – Gzin Dolny – Czarże, running to the border of the town of Czarże, and further east of the line marked by the western border of the town of Czarże to the northern border of the commune
- part of the Dobrcz commune located east of the line marked by the road running from the northern border of the commune, connecting the towns of Lisi Ogon – Suponin – Kozielec, the extension of which runs to the southern border of the commune

- part of the Jeżewo commune located south of the line designated by road no. 272 running from the eastern border of the commune to the village of Laskowice and the intersection with ul. Rolna running and the road running from the village of Laskowice to the western border of the commune and connecting the villages of Laskowice – Stare Krąplewice – Gródek
- part of the Drzycim commune located south of the line marked by the road running from the eastern border of the commune and connecting the towns of Stare Krąplewice – Gródek – Drzycim – Jastrzębie – Lniano
- part of the Świecie commune not included in the red zone
- part of the Pruszcz commune not included in the red zone
- part of the Bukowiec commune not included in the red zone

Fatal news from Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. An outbreak of ASF in pigs deep in the province
ASF in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship
Let us recall: the first outbreak of ASF in pigs in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship was confirmed on August 9 in the town of Kałdus in the Chełmno commune. Two days later, the disease was confirmed in the town of Starogród, a few kilometres away from the first outbreak.
Earlier, in June, the first ASF outbreaks in wild boars were confirmed in the north-eastern part of the province. This occurred first in Brodnica County, and later in Grudziądz County.
