Where was the red zone introduced?
Restricted area III (red zone) has been introduced in the following areas:
- Kiszkowo, Kłecko, Łubowo communes in the Gniezno poviat
- Pobiedziska commune in Poznań poviat
- Skoki commune and part of the Wągrowiec commune in Wągrowiec poviat
Extended blue zone coverage
The regulation also defined a new scope of the restricted area I (blue zone), which constitutes a kind of protection area. The following areas were included:
- Czerniejewo, Gniezno, Mieleszyn, Niechanowo communes, the city of Gniezno in the Gniezno district
- Damasławek, Gołańcz and Wapno communes in Wągrowiec poviat
- Nekla and Września communes in Września poviat
- the city of Chodzież, the communes of Chodzież, Margonin, part of the commune of Budzyń in the Chodzież district
- Ujście commune in Piła district
However, this is not the final shape of the zone – the ASF outbreak that was confirmed at the beginning of the week in the Piła district will mean that with the next regulation we will have to extend the zones to other municipalities in northern Greater Poland.
