ASF in 2024
Since the beginning of the year, 1,084 ASF outbreaks have been confirmed and occurred in 13 voivodeships of our country. Wild boar fever was not confirmed only in the Łódź, Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. The total number of outbreaks is much lower than in the same period last year: at the end of July, we had almost 2,000 confirmed cases. bonfires.
Unfortunately, while in the case of ASF in wild boars we can talk about some progress, the epizootic situation related to ASF in pigs seems to be worse than a year ago. While in 2023 the plague was confirmed in 30 herds, today the number is 28 and it will probably not end there.
