Debenhams has released its star-studded Christmas campaign for 2024, titled “Duh, Debenhams”.
Depicting a light-hearted take on the typical festive frenzy, the department store’s 30 second hero advert shows the retailer as the ultimate destination to ease seasonal shopping stress.
The campaign, produced by creative communications agency Exposure, encourages shoppers to question why they endure the crowds when they can enjoy a hassle-free experience at Debenhams.
The ad features a host of British cultural icons, including actress Elizabeth Hurley, model and TV host Leomie Anderson, comedian Ellie Taylor, and presenter/podcaster Hannah Cooper-Dommett.
Each vignette of the advert shows a juxtaposition of dreary, rainy skies to ‘festive zen’, showcasing relatable shopping challenges.
