The new warehouse facility will be one of the most modern logistics centers. The new investment amounts to EUR 112 million and will create 90 new jobs. This will be the second NewCold warehouse in Poland. The first one has been operating in Kutno since 2015 and will soon be expanded and modernized for the amount of EUR 50 million.

The new facility near Warsaw, combined with the existing location in Kutno, will increase our ability to meet the needs of customers in key markets in Central and Eastern Europe," said Bram Hage, founder and CEO of NewCold.

The facility in Nowy Modlin is being built by Atlas Ward and designed by Arcadis.
The new warehouse and refrigeration facility will create 90 jobs. Employees work in 5 shifts because the temperature in the facility is -25 degrees. Since the solutions used in the warehouse are technologically advanced, the training will be conducted by employees of the facility in Kutno as well as experts from the headquarters in the Netherlands.
The warehouse in Nowy Modlin will accommodate up to 94,600 pallets, increasing the total capacity of NewCold warehouses in Poland to 207,200 pallet places. – Our international reach will help Polish manufacturers gain access to new markets – said Roberto Alessio, vice president for business and development at Eastern Europe.

Photovoltaic installations help NewCold reduce energy costs and gain independence, which in turn translates into the ability to offer attractive rates to partners who use warehouses.
NewCold is an expert in advanced food logistics and the owner of 15 warehouse and refrigeration facilities on three continents. The new facility near Warsaw is the second NewCold warehouse in Poland. The first one is located in Kutno and is currently being expanded. Next year, its capacity is to be doubled.
