The Financial regulator of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) requires the Founded by Estonian entrepreneurs and registered on the London Exchange Company Wise to pay about 2,5 million dollars “for a series of illegal actions,” including for deluding advertising.
According to the Financial Times, the regulator ordered
Wise to pay a fine in the amount of two million dollars, plus compensation to customers for a total of 450 thousand dollars for inaccurate information about the commissions and currency rates in advertising materials.
