"Abi" opened new production facilities of the "Starodvorskie Kolbasy" plant in Vladimir, Vedomosti writes with reference to a company representative. The volume of investments in the project amounted to 8.8 billion rubles.

The plant includes three-story production facilities and a seven-story office building with a total area of 33,000 sq. m. The main part of the equipment is Russian-made, including import-substituting components. The plant plans to produce up to 500 tons of finished products per day.
As the general director of Abi Tatyana Trifonova said, the construction of the plant began in 2021 within the framework of an agreement with regional authorities. The implementation of the investment project included the construction of two new high-tech complexes for the production of sausages, frozen semi-finished products and finished products. As a result of the project, it is planned to increase the volume of production from 400,000 to 700,000 tons per year and create new jobs. One plant is open, the second is expected to open in the near future, Trifonova said.
According to the results of 2023, Abi's revenue amounted to RUB 78.3 billion, and sales volume reached 428,000 tons. Abi's structure includes three modern factories. The company produces products under the brands Vyazanka, Goryachaya Shtuchka, Starodvorye, Bavarushka, Yadrena Kopot and the international brand Hot Stuff.
The company's products, manufactured under various brands, are supplied both to the Russian market and to the CIS countries, the Middle East and the Customs Union. Exports also go to Abkhazia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
