This is the second agreement since the beginning of this year on the transfer of retail outlets of one chain to the management of another. At the beginning of the year, 10 Simeina Lavka stores were operating, and as a result of the transaction, 7 points were transferred to the management of the Alliance Osnova company.
According to the USTC, citing the All Retail publication, the management of the Torba chain decided to sell most of its chain of minimarkets Simeina Lavka to the Alliance Osnova company of Vinnytsia businessman Pavel Varshavsky . His company also develops the Domashny Market, Osnova, PRO, Mashket store chains (138 facilities in total).
At the beginning of the year, 10 Simeina Lavka stores were operating, and as a result of the transaction, 7 points were transferred to the management of the Alliance Osnova company: 5 in Chernivtsi and 2 in Kitsman. Thanks to this, the company entered a new region of the Chernivtsi region.
According to Youcontrol, Pavel Varshavsky is now also a beneficiary of Smm-group LLC, which was previously “in the orbit” of the owners of the Torba network. Under the terms of the agreement, all assets of Simeina’s Lavka stores, including inventory, equipment, and lease agreements, became the property of the Vinnytsia retailer.
At the same time, the trademark itself remained the property of the previous beneficiaries. The store in Rivne also remained open under the management of the previous owners.
Let us recall that at the beginning of 2024, another agreement on the transfer of ownership took place on the Ukrainian retail market. Thus, in January, the Kharkov chain Dars agreed to sell its assets, all of whose properties were transferred to another local retailer, the Posad company.
