
The National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage restores the tradition of rural dances with folk music. For the second time, it is organizing an event that promotes the values of native traditions and supports artists and local communities in cultivating musical and dance traditions.
Entities such as:
- rural women's circles,
- volunteer fire brigades,
- non-governmental organizations,
- local government cultural institutions.
One of the conditions was to organize the dances between July 15 and October 15, 2024.
The second edition of the Rural Dances program
This year, the second edition of the program took place, which met with a very wide response – as many as 180 applications passed the formal stage. Based on the points awarded as part of the substantive evaluation, a list of applications recommended for funding was selected and approved by the Institute's Management.
The maximum amount of funding for a Task under the Program for one Beneficiary is PLN 10,000.
