Last year, average yields averaged 7.4 t/ha with an area of 4.75 million hectares. According to current data, the average protein content in grain is 11.6%.

France is not only an important producer, but also an exporter of wheat grain to North Africa and the Middle East. The reduction in wheat harvest will apply to the EU as a whole, but also to Russia and Ukraine.
