Current prices for domestic piglets (09.08.2024)?
In the case of domestic piglets, almost all surveyed sales outlets decided to reduce prices (from PLN 10 to PLN 40/piece). There was also one increase in the price lists for domestic animals (by PLN 20/piece).
According to the results of our weekly survey , the prices for domestically produced piglets weighing 20 kg currently average PLN 322/piece net , which is PLN 16/piece net less than a week earlier. The prices of piglets in this weight range from PLN 300 to PLN 340/piece net.
In turn , domestic piglets weighing 30 kg cost on average PLN 384/piece net , i.e. PLN 26/piece net less than last week. Their prices are in the range of PLN 340 – 420/piece net.

How much do imported piglets cost (09/08/2024)?
In the case of imported piglets, all surveyed sales outlets decided to reduce prices (from PLN 2 to PLN 35/piece).
Piglets imported from Denmark are currently valued at an average of PLN 385/piece net , which is PLN 19/piece net less than last week. Their prices range from PLN 320 to PLN 445/piece net. The prices given are for piglets weighing 30 kg.
