Business development consultant and experienced sales manager Denis Voropayev was one of the first in Latvia to implement AI in the company's messengers and websites, thus reducing the number of employees by three times. At the same time, the company's sales increased by 2.5 times. Due to what? What tasks should be entrusted to computer technologies? Why will clients, customers and even the employees themselves like it? And what professions in Latvia are already "under attack" by artificial intelligence? Already today, businesses can significantly reduce employee costs by implementing artificial intelligence in various business processes, says Voropaev: "I have been working in sales for many years and about half of the working day, or even 6 out of 8 hours, is spent on routine tasks – answering the same type of questions, entering customer data into CRM databases (a storage of data about customers and their purchases). At the same time, the average salary of a sales expert in Latvia is 1,500 euros + taxes, and this does not include expenses for software, work equipment, office, training, sick leave, vacations and … finding a new employee and adapting him. For a business, this is a fairly expensive service.
Under attack. What professions is artificial intelligence displacing from the Latvian labor market already?
