Ukrainian imports of agricultural products increased by 10 percent. Poland is among the leading suppliers

From January to the end of June this year. Agricultural products worth USD 3.86 billion were imported to Ukraine. This is USD 336 million more than in the first six months of last year – reports Latifundist, citing data from the Institute of Agricultural Economics. Imports increased by 10%. compared to the same period in 2023.

Most of the products imported to Ukraine came from EU countries. They constitute approximately 51% of imports and their value is USD 1.95 billion. Apart from European countries, the top ten largest suppliers also include Türkiye and China. Poland is in first place, from where goods worth USD 436 million were imported. It is followed by Turkey ($334 billion), Germany ($318 million), Italy ($181 million), France $161 million), the Netherlands ($157 million), Norway ($149 million) , China ($132 million) and
Spain ($120 million).
