Ukraine attacked a maritime port, from which Russia exports nukes – reports Ukrainian Truth. Drones armed with explosive loads hit one of Russia’s largest trade ports Ust-Luga in Leningrad region.
As read, on circulating on social media Russian record we can see, how one of the drones hits the containers with gas condensate. Informants Ukrainian Truth reported from the course, that in the result of the attack one crane in the port was destroyed, and three others seriously damaged with its debris. According to Ukrainian sources, the attack had to cause an interruption in the operation of the Russian terminal, a repair will take at least a month.
The Ust-Luga terminal is the main Russian logistics hub over the Baltic Sea. Through this port Russia exports propane, gas and fertilizers minerals. Not long ago the media reported about imposing expansion of this port. The second stage of modernization and expansion of the terminal for handling cargoes and other mass loads has
as reported by Russian media in December ub, terminal sea has now three berths to handle 12 million tons of export cargoes per year. It is equipped with 34 dome storage facilities, which together can store approximately 1 million ton of mineral fertilizers. The Port has rail infrastructure to receive cargoes of masses, and a waterquarine enables the approach of mass size Panamax of
capacity up to 80 tys ton. This year the Russians intended to launch a new terminal for handling mineral fertilizers with capacity
of 8 million ton per year.
