The State Property Fund finally sold the Investagro farm, which belonged to the Russian oligarch Mykhailo Shelkow. The Ukrainian authorities confiscated them under sanctions for Russian aggression. A buyer was found only during the third auction – reports Latifundist.
The two previous auctions did not take place. There were no bidders for the first one, and the second one was canceled. The farm confiscated from Shelkow is located in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It has a lease area of almost 1.5 thousand square meters. ha of agricultural land, and full infrastructure. It specializes in growing sunflowers, millet, rapeseed and wheat.
The winner of the auction was Dniproagro Agro-Industrial Company – a subsidiary of the Dnipro Agro Group, owned by the brothers Wasyl and Yevhen Astion. The company paid UAH 27 million for Investagro. The initial price of Investagro was UAH 54.99 million.
Dnipro Agro Group operates over 50,000 hectares in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The company grows cereals and oil plants – wheat, barley, sunflower and rapeseed.
