It is worth noting that the harvest was completed on an area of over 7.94 million ha. The harvest of both cereals and peas was estimated at a total of about 31.82 million tons.
Accurate grain harvest in Ukraine in 2024
Below, UkrAgroConsult provided detailed data broken down by crop species for the 2024 harvest:
- wheat – 100 percent of the area of 4.846 million ha was harvested, and the harvest amounted to 21.7 million tonnes;
- barley – 1,397.4 thousand ha harvested – 100%, 5.5 million tonnes harvested;
- peas – threshed on 207.6 thousand ha – 99 percent, harvested 458.5 thousand tons,
- rapeseed – 1,227.6 thousand ha harvested by 98%, 3.4 million tonnes of seeds harvested.
The leader in grain harvests is the Odessa region, with 1,075.7 thousand hectares harvested.

Harvest 2024 in Ukraine
According to the website, the highest average yield was recorded in the Khmelnytskyi region and amounted to 6.55 t/ha.
It is worth knowing that Dnipropetrovsk region has started soybean harvest on an area of 0.65 thousand ha, achieving a yield of 1.52 t/ha. Farmers from Mykolaiv region have started harvesting sunflower seeds.
