Next year, a new logistics center for the Wildberries marketplace will appear in Almaty , TASS writes, citing data from the press service of the Kazakh government.

In the second quarter of 2025, a new logistics center for the Wildberries marketplace will open in Almaty. Another large marketplace center will also appear in the capital of Kazakhstan.
“ The Prime Minister was informed about the start of construction of a new Wildberries logistics distribution center with an area of over 100 thousand square meters. m. This is one of two similar projects being implemented in our country: the second center will appear in Astana,” the message says. According to the press service , at this stage 12.9 billion tenge (about $27 million) have already been invested in the project; completion of construction work is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
The new logistics centers will create 4,000 jobs.
“This is the first Wildberries project of this kind outside the Russian Federation,” the press service emphasized .
