An application regarding the merger of the District Dairy Cooperative in Łowicz and the District Dairy Cooperative in Myszków has been submitted to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
OSM Łowicz takes over OSM Myszków
Upon the merger, the members of the District Dairy Cooperative with its registered office in Myszków will become members of the District Dairy Cooperative in Łowicz, and thus the assets of the acquired cooperative will be transferred to OSM Łowicz, as will the creditors and debtors.
The merging cooperatives are engaged in the purchase of milk and its processing. The District Dairy Cooperative based in Myszków is engaged in the purchase of milk in the Silesian province, while the District Dairy Cooperative in Łowicz is engaged in the purchase of milk in 4 provinces. The products of both cooperatives are sold throughout the country.
The main objectives of the concentration include, first of all, strengthening the enterprise’s potential, improving the economic conditions of raw milk suppliers, and fully utilizing the technological capabilities of processing plants.
