In a conversation with TVN Warszawa journalists, the press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Płońsk, Commissioner Kinga Drężek-Zmysłowska, said that the report regarding the woman's death was received on Saturday morning:
– We have received information that in the village of Stary Komunin (Raciąż commune) in a corn field, several hundred meters from the buildings, the body of a 64-year-old woman was found. She had head injuries. She was found by family members. We are investigating the circumstances of the woman's death. A 38-year-old man, her son, has been detained in the case – informed the spokesperson of the District Police Headquarters in Płońsk.
The policewoman also said that the arrest took place in the neighboring district, specifically in the Strzegowo commune.
– In the interest of the proceedings, we are not providing detailed information on this matter at this time – concluded Commissioner Drężek-Zmysłowska.
