Orlen and Amic guarantee free refueling for firefighters
More companies are also joining the organization of aid for those fighting the flood. Orlen, as of Saturday, September 14, at selected petrol stations in the Lower Silesian, Silesian and Opole provinces, will not charge fees for refueling fire trucks, pumps, equipment of the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Departments, and other services subordinate to the Ministry of Interior and Administration participating in flood operations.
At AMIC stations located in flood-affected areas (Jelienia Góra, Legnica, Wrocław), services participating in rescue operations can collect free hot drinks and hot dogs. Through AMIC Energy, participants of the AMIC Club loyalty program can also join the aid campaign by donating their previously collected points to the Polish Humanitarian Action and the Polish Red Cross. Each customer can donate any multiple of PLN 20 within the number of points they have (PLN 20 is 2,000 AMIC Club points). AMIC Energy will add the same amount of points and transfer them to the accounts of selected foundations in cash to finance aid for people affected by the flood.
