“With these undertakings, the company intends to strengthen its production capabilities in the region, while implementing the goals of sustainable development. The Wielkopolskie province plays a key role in Poland’s agriculture, farming in an area of nearly 1.8 million hectares of agricultural land, which stands about 60% of the region’s area.” – stresses in the submitted material by the management of the Wielkopolska company.
We are striving to increase operational efficiency and support sustainable development in agriculture – emphasized from the county Piotr Jakubowski, member of the Top Farms Wielkopolska board.
Investments for land?
The company has suggested that it is ready to invest in Wielkopolska tens millions of gold in the next 5 years. There is one condition, however – the company will do this “in the creation of OPRs and the possibility of functioning these facilities.”
The problem in that the company has not made statutory exemptions, the contracts have expired, a KOVR agreed only to defer by a year the deadline for return of leased land and farms in Wielkopolska. Top Farms Wielkopolska may use the remaining its 5700 ha land only until the end 2025.
Dispute about OPRs
KOVR predicts the establishment of only two OPRs on ending leases Top Farms in Wielkopolska -. in Old Golbino and Sepno. Top Farms had requested that four centers be established on their existing
leases. KOVR on OPRs he envisioned only 1200 ha, a Top Farms wanted 4800 ha, because that
much according to the company’s management is necessary, to maintain production and jobs .
Who
in this situation promises multi-million investments to convince? It would also have to tender for OPR there may be many willing, a
not only the ex-lessee.
