The Estonian retail company TKM Grupp (formerly Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp), which operates in various fields, as usual, was the first among representatives of the Baltic exchanges to present the results of its last quarter. It turned out that they got worse.

During the second quarter of this year, the income of this group reached 237.323 million. euros, or more than two percent less than a year ago during the same period. Revenues in the supermarket segment shrank by about three percent, general purpose stores by about six percent, and the automotive segment fell by 3.1 percent.

Meanwhile, TKM Grupp's EBITDA profit during the mentioned period shrank even more, ie by 7.7 percent to 23.3 million. euros, and the net profit fell by over twenty-three percent to 9.868 million. euros.

In total, after the first half of this year, the income of this trading group reaches 458.826 million. euros, or 0.4 percent less than in the first half of 2023. EBITDA profit shrank by seven percent to 40.1 million. euros, and the net – by almost thirty-eight percent to 8.357 million. euros.

Since the beginning of this year, the market value of TKM Grupp has fallen by two percent, and in the last one year – by about two percent. For comparison, the value of the OMX Tallinn GI index fell by about one percent and 7.1 percent, respectively.
