Так выглядит дом, который мог стать резиденцией президента Эстонии. Сегодня его продают почти за миллион евро

The Estonian State Property Management Company (RKAS) has put the Liberty Manor, which was planned to be rebuilt into a presidential residence during Toomas Hendrik Ilves' tenure as President of Estonia, up for sale, writes rus.err.ee. The manor is being put up for sale via auction with a starting price of 890,000 euros (excluding tax). The complex of manor buildings, located on a 3.6-hectare seaside plot, was separated from the territory occupied by the Open Air Museum in 2013. In early 2014, the Presidential Chancellery began negotiations with RKAS on rebuilding the manor to create representative and residential premises for the current President of Estonia, with the possibility of accommodating foreign guests. The plans to renovate the complex were stalled due to the failure of the design tender, and then the construction tender, since all the bids received exceeded the customer's estimate, which was set at 4.4 million euros. The summer manor was built by the Koch family in the 19th century. The estate has been empty for the past 30 years. During the Soviet era, it housed a pioneer camp for a long time. Toomas-Hendrik Ilves was the President of Estonia from September 23, 2006 to October 10, 2016. In November 2015, he became engaged and in January 2016, he married Latvian cybersecurity policy expert Ieva Kupce. The couple divorced last year. They have a son together.
