November and December account for almost 1/5 of the total value of transactions made by customers Twisto in 2024 year.  The day on which customers were most likely to use deferred payment at Twisto, was 29 November, which was “black Thursday.” For 2025 year, the company plans to include further development of the service, allowing to distribute payments in three installments.

  • The total value of transactions in November and December was in Twisto traditionally higher, than the average month value of transactions in the whole 2024 year. This means that customers were willing to use deferred payments in the period of intensive sales and preparation for Christmas .
  • The behavior of consumers confirms the results of a survey conducted by Twisto , in which 58 proc. people indicated that they plan to use the “buy now pay later” service during this year’s holidays. In order to better adapt to customers’ needs, Twisto introduced for this time the option to extend defer payment to 60 days.

– we have created product, which enables our customers to make purchases in accordance with their needs – yes, how they want and when they want – without concern about the budget and the necessity of immediate payment. In Poland, Czech and also in many other countries in the world the peak shopping period falls at the sale time Black Friday. It is then there are many attractive bargains appearing in the market, the purchase of which is difficult to plan in advance. We were not surprised therefore, that the day, on which our customers made the most number of transactions in 2024 year, was 29 November – says Jan Fišar, head of marketing Twisto.

Services “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) offer consumers increased flexibility in budget management and enable more efficient use of annual November promotions. Through this payment form customers can test any number of products without needing to immediately spend their own money. If products do not meet expectations, they can return them without incurring additional costs.

of single purchases in this shop.category was average 349 £, which significantly exceeds the average value for all

purchases, which was 118 £.

– Fashion remains the most selected category of purchases during the hot shopping period in November and December. It has been already for some years and it is this category traditionally associated with autumn sales. We are happy with the fact, that we help customers realize also many other needs, to which also include purchasing parts and accessories of cars, home goods, electronics or accessories sports – adds Jan Fišar.

The highest average value of transactions made by Twisto customers was recorded in the “home and design” category, in which expenditures amounted to an average 469 £. The lowest on the other hand in the case of food items, in which the purchases were paid at an average 95 zl.
