The minimum wage increases on July 1. The minimum salary is PLN 4,300 gross. This is good news for a large part of employees. The worse thing is that with the increase in the minimum wage, penalties for the lack of compulsory third party liability insurance will increase. The increase in the minimum wage directly affects the amount of financial penalties transferred to the Insurance Guarantee Fund.
In 2024, this fine will reach a record level and will reach up to PLN 12,000. zloty.
The amount of penalties depends on the period during which the vehicle was not insured. The longer this time was, the more severe the fine will be.
