Changes are expected in the social landscape of Estonia – the draft law of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications on the abolition of state unemployment benefits risks becoming one of the most controversial reforms of recent years. The amendments to the Unemployment Insurance Act and other related laws have not yet been adopted, but have already caused a strong reaction from both trade union representatives and local governments.
