It's safest on their farm!

The title of the safest farm in the country in 2024 was awarded to the farm of Ewelina and Piotr Gręźlikowski from Dobrzejewice in the commune of Oborowo in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, and it was to them that the brand new Farmtrac went. The farmers run a breeding farm with an area of 65 hectares. The main direction of production is pedigree breeding of pigs. They keep a herd of over 250 sows. Their piglets are sold throughout the country: to individual breeders, producer groups and insemination stations. In addition, the animals are exported abroad: to Lithuania, Ukraine, Moldova. For the feed needs of the bred animals, they grow cereals – wheat, triticale, barley and corn.

Second place was taken by the farm of Elżbieta and Edmund Nowiński from Bratian in the commune of Nowe Miasto Lubawskie, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, which specializes in plant production. On 18 hectares of arable land, they grow edible potatoes, rapeseed and triticale. Third place was awarded to the farm of Jolanta and Mateusz Kowalczyk from Chomętów in the commune of Trzebiatów, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, who run a 130-hectare farm with a plant production profile. Every year, they grow about 15 hectares of sugar beets and 20 hectares of edible potatoes, and on the remaining land they sow cereals and rapeseed.

A special award from the Chief Labour Inspector for the use of facilities and technical solutions that increase work safety on a farm was received by Edyta and Witold Stryczków from Łowce in the Chłopice commune, Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
