The history of the Skrzypc family's business dates back over 40 years. The company started as a bakery specializing in baking bread according to traditional recipes. A few years later, she expanded her business and opened a food and industrial store, which currently operates under the ODIDO brand.

Why ODIDO?

– First of all, for the great opportunities for cooperation and the guarantee of independence. I have complete freedom of action, no one forces me to do anything or imposes any rules of conduct. I decide on the selection of suppliers and local products. I choose products that I choose myself and that I know will work well in my store. I can always ask a network representative for help or advice. He helps me on an ongoing basis, among others: in the selection of the assortment and presents the most advantageous offers. Another equally important issue for me is the additional discount I receive on the assortment available at MAKRO.

How long have you been a MAKRO customer? How long have you been working with ODIDO?

– We have been shopping since the very beginning of MAKRO's establishment in Poznań, i.e. since 1996. We have been working with ODIDO for a relatively short time, only 5 months, but we can already see the effects and we are satisfied with this change. Customers also see the difference and visit us more often.

What effects are we talking about?

– After joining ODIDO, literally everything changed, because the store underwent a thorough reconstruction. It went very smoothly and lasted only two weeks. This is also worth emphasizing because it did not involve the long-term closure of the store. We received enormous support from the network's experts, especially in designing the interior, equipment and shelves. In addition, the external visualization and lighting have changed, which made the store modern and more customer-friendly.

There is a lot of competition around. How do you deal with it?

– Despite strong discount competition, the changes implemented in the store attract customers. Just two months after joining ODIDO, our turnover increased by 10%. And that was just the beginning. We are visited more often by customers who come every day. The store is located next to the school, there is a train station nearby, so both local residents and people from nearby towns shop here. We offer a wide selection of products, from freshly baked bread, through local fruit and vegetables, to industrial products.
