IT market rebounds. Specialists needed again
– The employment outlook for the last quarter of this year for IT is positive, the data places the industry right next to transport, logistics & automotive and consumer goods & services, among the three sectors with the highest expected growth. This is a good signal and, let's hope, confirmation of a rebound after earlier reductions and a slowdown in development or even the suspension of some projects – says Justyna Mazur, labor market expert, recruitment manager at Experis. –
The current increase in the employment forecast suggests that IT companies are now better prepared for future challenges, seeing increased demand for their products and services. Renewed investments in new technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the extremely important cybersecurity are additionally stimulating this growth. We are seeing a greater number of recruitment processes than in previous months – adds the IT labor market expert.
The market is driven by the growing demand for digital services, technological innovations, and process transformation and automation.
According to Justyna Mazur, the analysis shows that the Polish IT industry maintains dynamic growth despite changing economic conditions. – Almost half of the companies in this sector plan to increase employment, which confirms that the market is driven by the growing demand for digital services, technological innovations and process transformation and automation. The percentage of projected layoffs may be the result of, among others, restructuring, cost optimization or changing business priorities.
