The Beginnings of the Agata Network: A Company with Traditions

Bytom Furniture Factories – it was with them that the history of furniture showrooms that won the hearts of Poles began in 1952. The first stores operated in Katowice and Bielsko-Biała. The Katowice facility is still the local "showcase" of the brand, which is today a private joint-stock company, still with exclusively Polish capital.

Initially, furniture for almost any interior could be purchased in the showrooms. Since 2008, the company began to develop the concept of a space with decorations and accessories that expanded the brand's assortment. One of the breakthrough events in recent years was the brand rebranding process in 2015. The changes included both image modifications and changes within the organization. A new visual identification was implemented, which influenced, among other things, the change of the logotype and the brand name – from "Agata Meble" to "Salony Agata".
