Expansion of the Z-BOX network – Packety priority
Z-BOX parcel machines, which are becoming increasingly popular among our southern neighbors due to the easy and quick collection of parcels, are becoming a key element of Packeta's offer. The company currently has a network of 7,088 Z-BOXes: 4,201 in the Czech Republic, 1,696 in Slovakia, and 1,191 in Hungary. Compared to the beginning of the year, the total number of Z-BOXes has increased by over 880, which is the result of intensive investment activities undertaken in late spring and summer 2024, which are still ongoing. Packeta does not give up on collection points, which are still very popular among consumers. Together with them, the company has 15,680 places where you can collect a parcel in the 3 countries mentioned above (Czech Republic: 9,813, Slovakia: 2,829, Hungary: 3,038).

Modern technologies and customer care
Packeta has started installing keyboards on its Z-BOXes. By the end of the year, all Z-BOXes in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary will be equipped with this new solution. The keyboards make it easier to use parcel machines for people who do not use smartphones, but they will also make collecting parcels even easier and more accessible for all customers. The company has already installed about 1,000 of these keyboards, mainly on Z-BOXes located in large cities.
Z-BOXes are also an example of ecological logistics solutions. They are powered entirely by solar energy, requiring no connection to the electricity grid. The machines are self-sufficient, available 24/7 and can be easily installed in various locations, such as offices, shopping centers or grocery stores. Thanks to this, Packeta can quickly expand its network, installing up to 20 Z-BOXes per day.
Development plans and further investments
Packeta has presented its plans for the future. Its goal is to double the size of the company in the next five years. Currently, key investments are focused on three markets – Czech, Slovak and Hungarian, which are particularly popular among Polish e-shops. The brand's priority is to establish the fact that Packeta is the best logistics partner for its customers and the first choice of consumers when choosing parcel deliveries.
The company will focus on further improving its logistics processes and increasing the efficiency of its distribution network, especially during key periods such as Q4, which is the focus of Black Friday and the holiday season. This will ensure the reliability of services that e-commerce partners can count on during key sales moments.
New management
In the context of these ambitious development plans, it is also worth mentioning the changes in the company's management. Erich Čomor has become the new CEO of Packet, taking over from the company's founder, Simona Kijonková. He plans to continue the philosophy of a strong focus on customer satisfaction, based on the experience from his previous positions.
Packeta is a digital platform for e-commerce, providing comprehensive logistics services. Founded in 2010 in the Czech Republic as Zásilkovna, over the course of a decade it transformed into a holding operating under the name Packeta Group, associating 14 entities. The company, cooperating with online stores, quickly gained the position of a leader in the industry. Currently, Packeta operates in 7 countries, delivers to 33 countries, has over 16.5 thousand of its own collection points (including over 7 thousand Z-BOXes), 164.5 thousand partner points and cooperates with over 49 thousand online stores. In 2023, it handled over 106 million shipments. The company also helps its partners develop their business abroad.
