All 31 lease tenders planned by the Wielkopolska KOWR will take place within just 5 days, between July 7 and 11. All of them will take place in the form of limited tenders and oral auctions, so there will be no shortage of emotions. Especially since KOWR offers really attractive areas.
Most of the announced proceedings concern land in the Gostyń district, mainly in the Piaski commune. Only two areas are located elsewhere – in the Szamotuły and Międzychód counties. The majority of offers include areas of several hectares. Only three offers concern land with an area of over 20 hectares, and 8 tenders concern plots with an area of less than 10 hectares.
The biggest pieces
The largest area put up for tender is 34.6783 ha in Piaski, Gostyń County. This area consists of four plots and is undeveloped land. The asking rent for these lands was set by KOWR at 296 quintals of wheat. This tender will be held at the local branch in Poznań on July 10 this year. at 8 o'clock
On the same day and at the same time, an oral limited tender was planned for the lease of 26.6168 ha in the village of Drzęczewo, in the Piaski commune. This is also undeveloped agricultural land, and the starting rent in the auction is 187 dt of wheat. In the same village, there will be another 20.8 hectares of undeveloped land available for purchase, with an asking price of 191 dt of wheat. This tender will take place on July 8 in Poznań.
Fields to whom, ponds to whom?
The twenty areas put up for tender in July are up to 10 to 20 ha in size. Only on July 8, 5 such tenders are to be held, which will include land in the area of Drzęczewo, in the Piaski commune. For 10-hectare plots, the auction will start with a rent of 94 dt of wheat, for 17.559 ha KOWR wants a minimum of 166 dt, and for 16.9 ha the starting rent is 159 dt. In the case of 19.6 ha in the same area, the auction will start from 184 dt.
In addition to arable land, interested parties will also find land with ponds, meadows and pastures. For example, the ponds are on a plot of 18.3409 ha in the Piaski commune, which will be auctioned on July 9. The asking rent for it was set at 154 dt of wheat. For the lease of 9.2901 ha on which Staw Drzęczewo is located, in the same commune, the rent is a minimum of 85 quintal of wheat, and the tender will take place on July 8.
The plot is worth sinning
The eight planned limited tenders concern plots ranging from 4 to 10 ha. In this case, the rents desired by KOWR are certainly less harmful to farmers' pockets, but even here the discrepancies may be significant.
For example, bidding for 5.45 ha may start from 37 dt or from 91 dt of wheat. The price discrepancy may result from both the quality of the soil and the location of the land. Meanwhile, the offer included 9.59 ha with a starting rent of 82 dt, and 4,434 ha with an asking rent of 12 dt.
