Despite this, it has been reported that some VARMFRONT chargers may pose a fire safety hazard due to a manufacturing error. This error is specific to VARMFRONT 10400 mAh (model number E2038) with date stamp (YYWW) 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319 or VARMFRONT 5200 mAh (model number E2037) with date stamp (YYWW) 2318, 2319 or 2322. in-line VARMFRONT devices of the specified series are being recalled. Customers who own these products should immediately stop using them and contact IKEA for a replacement or full refund. Customers should check the numbering on the back of the VARMFRONT to ensure their device is not affected. VARMFRONT chargers with other date stamps are not affected by the recall. VARMFRONT chargers with date stamps covered by this notice can be returned to any IKEA store for a replacement product or a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
