The experiment involves 189 VkusVilla outlets: 183 dark stores and 6 classic stores located both in Moscow and other Russian cities.
“We want to reach out with our care not only to gardeners and summer residents, but also to city dwellers who like to grow herbs and flowers on a windowsill or balcony,” said Tatyana Proshchekalnikova, leader of the “Garden and Vegetable Garden” direction.
Currently, the chain’s assortment includes more than 250 items for gardening and vegetable gardening. At 6 retail outlets there are separate shelves with a thematic “country” display, where about 150 types of goods are presented.
In the near future, it is planned to expand the assortment of the “Cottage, Garden and Vegetable Garden” project on the covered dark stores. Starting next spring, the summer assortment will be expanded to more retail stores.
